BTU have an ongoing relationship with Kings College University and have worked with the university for several years to deliver highly technical and demanding projects.

In that time we have undertaken a diverse range of project which represent a major investment by the university in new plant and equipment. Most of them were for the refurbishment of boiler plant or piped services systems replacement. BTU has worked closely with the University and has delivered many of the projects during term time, minimising disruption to the buildings timetable, noise and dust, local traffic and movement of staff and students around the various buildings.

Where services were required to be interrupted, we managed this in consultation with the facilities teams and introduced systems and solutions to ensure seamless running of the activities. All projects were delivered on time, on budget and have met employers requirements.

The most relevant tasks performed included:
The Strand Campus – Pump replacement project - Value £400,000
Virginia Wolf Building – Plant room upgrade – Value £260,000
Shepherd House – Plant room upgrade – Value £130,000.00
