St Paul’s is a leading independent school offering an outstanding, all-round education for gifted boys aged 7 to 18 years. It is situated on 43 acres in Barnes, West London. The school is currently undergoing an ambitious rebuilding schedule.

The estate comprises a mixture of newly completed buildings, the remainder of the original 1960’s CLASP buildings plus a range of off-campus housing stock and ancillary buildings. A complex project, requiring the support of a partner capable of delivering a wide range of skills and expertise.

BTU has been responsible for Reactive and Planned M&E Maintenance to on-campus and off-campus buildings across the estate since 2018. We ensure the school requires to run safely and comfortably all year round, with no disruption to pupils and staff. All works are delivered to SFG20 compliance, CIBSE Guide M maintenance regime and the M&E specification at SI 2400 for the duration of the contract.

The most relevant tasks performed included:
All reactive and planned M&E Maintenance to the on campus estate.
Delivering reactive maintenance and landlord testing to tenanted housing on the off-campus estates.
Being proactive and having excellent reporting and asset management capabilities to comply with section SI720.
To develop an efficient realistic lifecycle replacement plan.
Value engineering of the project to deliver efficiencies and value to the client.
