Andrew is the Managing Director of BTU Installation and Maintenance. I have been a Board Director since October 1998. I hold a degree in Environmental Engineering. For me buildings service maintenance and installation is a passion. One of the most fulfilling parts of my role is establishing and building effective long standing relationships with our clients in all the key sectors. Ensuring our managers, staff and engineers are empowered to deliver professional, effective services which add value for customers and improve compliance and performance for their building services systems.
Paul is the Finance Director for BTU (Installation & Maintenance) Ltd and this year celebrates 10 years at BTU. Having qualified as an ACMA in 1991 I have spent all my career working in the Construction and M&E Industry. I have built up a wide range of industry relevant skills alongside Accounting that allow me to play an active role in the continual development of the Company. I am proud to be part of a Company that is always evolving in search of exemplary service to all its customers.
James is Head of Operations and Compliance at BTU Installation and Maintenance. I have been with BTU since March 2017, I have worked in the Heating Industry since the early 1990’s. I initially moved into a Technical Management role in 2005 before progressing into Operations Management in 2007. I am committed to developing professional and high performing customer centric teams, where we deliver a cost effective and efficient service for our clients in a brand you can trust.
Joel is the Head of Maintenance at BTU. I am time served engineer who always strives to deliver first class service. Delivering successful planned, reactive and quoted works across a plethora of clients helps to create and fulfil long standing relationships with stake holders across various business sectors. The most rewarding part of my role is demonstrating the BTU ethos through from managers to engineers with all on hand to help deliver first class service 24/7 365 days a year.
I Joined BTU in 2008 as a trainee mechanical engineer, throughout my time at BTU I have worked in various roles for the projects division which helped developed an excellent understanding of all aspects of construction project delivery and the business operations. BTU have continually supported me and my development as an engineer, I obtained and HNC in 2012 at City of Westminster College and also have undertaken and received numerus technical, H&S and personal achievements.
Since 2015 I have worked in the capacity of a Contracts Manager and have a proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and on budget. As an engineer I thrive to engineer solutions to make projects more affordable whilst not comprising on the quality.
I have worked in the role of Business Manager at BTU since 2018, with over a decade of experience in the building services industry. Primarily focused on the design, monitoring and management of administrative processes, business reporting and IT infrastructure. Making use of technology to help our staff deliver services to the highest possible standard is at the heart of everything I do, with a constant focus on how we can improve our systems to meet the challenges of our industry.
Adrian is a Senior Manager and leader, with a proven ability of managing major gas maintenance and installation contracts. Using an effective balance of advanced technical knowledge and practical experience, alongside strategic intelligence, to continuously drive business efficiency and quality standards.
With over ten years’ experience in procurement and commercial assurance for complex M&E installations, Ricky oversees BTU’s full supply chain from supplier selection and tendering to benchmarking and contract negotiation, ensuring cost certainty and technical compliance. He has extensive experience sourcing specialist items and supports value engineering, reduces commercial risk and mitigates cost escalation. Working closely with project teams, Ricky aligns procurement schedules with programme timelines, making sure materials and subcontractors meet specification and quality standards.
I am Tony Wood and I have been a Contract Manager with BTU Installation & Maintenance since 2018. I have over 30 years’ experience within the building services industry. I hold Advanced City & Guilds qualification in plumbing and heating and until 5 years ago held full Domestic/Commercial gas qualifications. I also hold IOSH managing safely accreditation. I manage various contracts within BTU, these contacts vary from large commercial council contracts to private customers. I take pride in my role dealing with my clients and ensuring their needs are met, liaising with my engineers and ensuring they have my full support anytime they come across challenges or technical issues.
I’m Tom Clayton, one of the Contract Managers at BTU Installation and Maintenance Limited. I have over 22 years experience within the engineering and maintenance industry, originally starting as an apprentice and have gained a BTEC National Certificate in Engineering and NVQ Level 3 in Engineering Production. I’ve spent a large part of my career working as an Engineer within the HVAC, engineering and building services sectors and then joined the BTU Group in April 2018 as a highly experienced engineer for one of their newest contracts. I have since been able to utilise my experience to progress through to Lead Engineer and now Contract Manager for one of our largest clients. I pride myself on providing expert industry knowledge, building trusted relationships and delivering a high quality and professional service to our clients.
I’m a Contract Manager who began my career in the M&E industry straight after leaving education, progressing through every level to senior management, obtaining qualifications in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, Industrial Gas Installation & Servicing as Wiring Regulations, alongside extensive manufacturer training. I have managed high-profile PPM and Capital Expenditure project accounts across multiple building/occupancy portfolios for global managing agents, Blue Light/Retail/Educational and Healthcare sectors as well as countywide Local Authority contracts, from tender through mobilisation to delivery of PPM, Reactive & Projects. I pride myself on building and maintaining trusted client relationships by delivering a high-quality, professional service.
I joined BTU in 2017 and have been Proposals Manager since March 2025, bringing over eight years’ experience in the mechanical and electrical building services sector. My role focuses on leading high-quality bid submissions, coordinating technical and commercial inputs, and ensuring compliance with client and framework requirements. I place strong emphasis on structure, clarity and continuous improvement, supporting the business to present its capabilities clearly and competitively across a wide range of public and private sector opportunities.
I’m a Construction Project Manager with hands-on experience delivering mechanical, electrical, and fabric projects across commercial, residential, and public-sector buildings. I focus on clear planning, strong communication, and practical problem-solving to keep programmes on track and ensure safe, compliant delivery. I work closely with clients, consultants, and contractors to manage risk, coordinate trades, and maintain quality from pre-construction through to handover.
