Having worked for BTU for over 35 years, operationally, as a board member and ultimately as Chairman, I have a clear vision and understanding of what it takes to run a successful mechanical and electrical building services business.
First and foremost my main priority is to focus on delivering the best service combined with continuous improvement to ensure we build long term relationships and client satisfaction.
Being self-motivated with a pragmatic approach I also have the experience and management skills for operational management, business development and strategic planning.
Andrew is the Managing Director of BTU Installation and Maintenance. I have been a Board Director since October 1998. I hold a degree in Environmental Engineering. For me buildings service maintenance and installation is a passion. One of the most fulfilling parts of my role is establishing and building effective long standing relationships with our clients in all the key sectors. Ensuring our managers, staff and engineers are empowered to deliver professional, effective services which add value for customers and improve compliance and performance for their building services systems.
Paul is the Finance Director for BTU (Installation & Maintenance) Ltd and this year celebrates 10 years at BTU. Having qualified as an ACMA in 1991 I have spent all my career working in the Construction and M&E Industry. I have built up a wide range of industry relevant skills alongside Accounting that allow me to play an active role in the continual development of the Company. I am proud to be part of a Company that is always evolving in search of exemplary service to all its customers.
James is Senior Operations Manager at BTU Installation and Maintenance. I have been with BTU since March 2017, I have worked in the Heating Industry since the early 1990’s. I initially moved into a Technical Management role in 2005 before progressing into Operations Management in 2007. I am committed to developing professional and high performing customer centric teams, where we deliver a cost effective and efficient service for our clients in a brand you can trust.
Joel is senior contracts manager at BTU. I am time served engineer who always strives to deliver first class service. Delivering successful planned, reactive and quoted works across a plethora of clients helps to create and fulfil long standing relationships with stake holders across various business sectors. The most rewarding part of my role is demonstrating the BTU ethos through from managers to engineers with all on hand to help deliver first class service 24/7 365 days a year.
I have worked in the role of Business Manager at BTU since 2018, with over a decade of experience in the building services industry. Primarily focused on the design, monitoring and management of administrative processes, business reporting and IT infrastructure. Making use of technology to help our staff deliver services to the highest possible standard is at the heart of everything I do, with a constant focus on how we can improve our systems to meet the challenges of our industry.
I am Marketing Manager for BTU Installation & Maintenance and have worked with the company since 2015. My background is in Marketing, PR and Communications across both B2B and B2C sectors. I bring a wealth of experience to BTU including strong project management, vision and creativity as well as classic marketing know-how. My role is to interface between the operational side of the business, clients and prospective clients to ensure our values, reputation and performance are aligned, integrated into the business and presented externally.
I am Michelle King and I have worked at BTU installation & Maintenance since April 2010 . I have over 30 years’ experience in the gas industry. I manage BTUs Domestic Gas Maintenance Contract for the London Borough of Camden and lead a team of 24 engineers. I am a fully qualified domestic gas engineer and hold a Level 2 Certificate in Team Leadership, plus a range of RoSPA accredited Health and Safety Qualifications. In my role with BTU I oversee the installation, maintenance and breakdown repair of heating systems in over 13,000 domestic properties within the London Borough of Camden. I take immense pride in my job, encouraging and managing my team and delivering the highest standard of customer service to the residents and the client.
I am Tony Wood and I have been a Contract Manager with BTU Installation & Maintenance since 2018. I have over 30 years’ experience within the building services industry. I hold Advanced City & Guilds qualification in plumbing and heating and until 5 years ago held full Domestic/Commercial gas qualifications. I also hold IOSH managing safely accreditation. I manage various contracts within BTU, these contacts vary from large commercial council contracts to private customers. I take pride in my role dealing with my clients and ensuring their needs are met, liaising with my engineers and ensuring they have my full support anytime they come across challenges or technical issues.
I am Jerry Duckworth and I have been a Contract Manager with BTU Installation & Maintenance since 2018. I have over 40 years’ experience within the building services industry. I have an HND in Mechanical Engineering plus qualifications in Heating, Ventilation and Air conditioning, I am also a qualified electrician. I hold IOSH managing safely accreditation and SMSTS site safety. I manage several contracts for BTU, these contacts are for large commercial sites, universities and schools. I enjoy the personal contact with my clients and engineers, the challenge of their differing technical needs and the variety of systems we maintain and install. I take pride in delivering the highest standard of customer service.
I’m Tom Clayton, one of the Contract Managers at BTU Installation and Maintenance Limited. I have over 22 years experience within the engineering and maintenance industry, originally starting as an apprentice and have gained a BTEC National Certificate in Engineering and NVQ Level 3 in Engineering Production. I’ve spent a large part of my career working as an Engineer within the HVAC, engineering and building services sectors and then joined the BTU Group in April 2018 as a highly experienced engineer for one of their newest contracts. I have since been able to utilise my experience to progress through to Lead Engineer and now Contract Manager for one of our largest clients. I pride myself on providing expert industry knowledge, building trusted relationships and delivering a high quality and professional service to our clients.
I Joined BTU in 2008 as a trainee mechanical engineer, throughout my time at BTU I have worked in various roles for the projects division which helped developed an excellent understanding of all aspects of construction project delivery and the business operations. BTU have continually supported me and my development as an engineer, I obtained and HNC in 2012 at City of Westminster College and also have undertaken and received numerus technical, H&S and personal achievements.
Since 2015 I have worked in the capacity of a Contracts Manager and have a proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and on budget. As an engineer I thrive to engineer solutions to make projects more affordable whilst not comprising on the quality.
Jay is the QSHE Manager at BTU Installation and Maintenance.
I am the Quality Safety Health and Environment Manager at BTU and I have been working in Facilities and Operations management for over a decade. I am a NEBOSH qualified Health and Safety professional and I pride myself on my ability to always connect and communicate with customers and colleagues. I will quickly establish solutions to issues and build robust processes to ensure our customers receive the best service. I have a huge passion for driving a positive safety culture within the business and I have committed to making sure our staff complete works to the highest standard and in the safest manner.
